As a C.I.T. or Junior C.I.T in our summer camp program you will receive on the job training by shadowing different positions within the camp. The C.I.T. Program and Junior C.I.T. program gives promising students an opportunity to gain valuable experience by working in a summer camp setting. All C.I.T. and Junior C.I.T. candidates must apply and will be interviewed by the Recreation Director/ Asst. Director for acceptance into the program. There are no guarantees all participants will be accepted into the C.I.T. program or Junior C.I.T. program.
Chosen participants will be decided based on interview, camp standings in the past, and letter from school guidance counselor.
Participants may not be previous campers that have right ups, suspensions, or removed from camp or any programs at any point.
Hours and Days may vary depending number of participants and activities.
All those applying must fill out a C.I.T application form, register online into the program, and submit a letter of recommendation from their school guidance counselor to the recreation office before May 29th.
Junior C.I.T. applicants must have completed 8th
C.I.T. applicants must have completed 9th grade or higher
