This club introduces players in grades 5th-12th to the adventures of Dungeons and Dragons (fondly known as D&D).
D&D is a tabletop role-playing game in which players design imaginary characters and go on adventures together with nothing but their imaginations, maps, and dice to guide them.
Game play is dictated by player decisions, collaborative problem-solving and the roll of the dice. Dice, maps, and story ideas are provided. Plots are co-created between the students and instructor, so paying attention and working together are necessary as games last many weeks, consistent weekly attendance is encouraged.
First night will be character development and learn dice play.
Registration opens 2/24 for residents and 3/10 for non residents.
Players who register before 3/17 will receive an official letter from the Dungeon Master about the quest that awaits them.
Registration ends 03/24/2025
Players will also receive:
Dice, a dice bag, quest journal/log book, a dungeon folder, packet of rules, character sheets, and a tote bag to store it all.
These items will need to be left here or brought each week with them in order to play.
