Senior Transportation Services
Need a Ride? We’re Here to Help!
We currently offer two transportation options for eligible senior residents (aged 50+):
- Chevy Traverse – Fee based on miles driven.
- Ford Mini Bus – Wheelchair-accessible and funded in part through a 5310 DOT grant; suggested donations are appreciated as they offset the cost of the service.
This service is available to Plainfield residents. Our goal is to help you get to medical appointments, grocery shopping, and other essential destinations throughout northeast Connecticut. The Mini Bus is also available for those under the age of 50 that have a documented disability.
Additional Details
- Participants must complete required paperwork before using the service.
- We also provide transportation for Sterling and Canterbury residents as schedule permits; however, Plainfield residents receive priority.
- For more information or to begin the enrollment process, please call us 860-564-1819.
