Scrabble, Yahtzee, Mahjong, Wed. Apr. 2nd:  Players choice.  Bring a friend and have some fun!  Teams will be formed based on the number of participants present.   Card Making, Open Forum, Thurs, Apr. 3rd:  This will be an open-forum class where I will bring out an assortment of stamps, different colored inks, paper punches, colored pencils and markers, and other goodies for you to work with.  We always have a great time in the card making classes, as everyone shares their knowledge and ideas!    Trivia With Friends, Wed. Apr. 9th:  Come exercise your brain and sharpen your memory by taking part in this fun group.  This activity is always engaging and entertaining, as everyone in attendance offers stories and interesting facts pertaining to the trivia questions.  You will have a great time, while also learning some interesting new things! Pisanki Easter Eggs, Thurs. Apr. 10th:  Called “pisanki” in Polish (which comes from the verb pisac, or 'to write'), these elaborately decorated Polish Easter eggs are a tradition that is centuries' old and continues to be loved and celebrated to this day.  While it can take many years to master this technique, we will create some of these (wooden) eggs in less than 5 minutes!  The craft will be preceded by several short videos so we can learn about this treasured custom! Origami Bunny, Wed. Apr. 16th:  Just in time for Easter, we’ll fold up this darling little bunny!  This model will be moderate in difficulty.  Come and make just one or a whole colony of these adorable little creatures!Paper Easter Basket, Thurs. Apr. 17th:  This will be an easy craft, and it comes out looking fabulous!  If you signed up for the Pisanki Easter Egg class on April 10th, this class would be a great follow-up craft.  These baskets can be made in a number of different sizes to accommodate whatever goodies you want to put in them.   Chalkboard Wheel of Fortune, Wed. Apr. 23rd:  This class will be a modification of the popular TV game show “Wheel of Fortune.”  Come and join me for this entertaining guessing contest; we always have loads of fun in this class!   Learning Through Documentaries, Thurs. Come check out our new art program happening on the second Friday of the month, starting April 11th and running through June 13th. Each class will run from 10am-12pm at the Plainfield Senior Center! Carrie Ann Palazzo from the Art House of Norwich will be leading the class and providing materials for a different art project each month.
