Scrabble, Yahtzee, Mahjong, Wed. June 4th:  Players choice.  Bring a friend and have some fun!  Teams will be formed based on the number of participants present.   Card Making, Pre-designed, Thurs. June 5th:  I’ve been getting tons of compliments on a card that we made nearly a year ago, so I thought we could make it again.  The card features several birds on the front, made with nothing more that paper circles.  So easy, yet so charming!  Check out my samples table outside of the Craft Room to see this card that can be customized with a number of different greetings.   Trivia With Friends, Wed. June 11th:  Come exercise your brain and sharpen your memory by taking part in this fun group.  This activity is always engaging and entertaining, as everyone in attendance offers stories and interesting facts pertaining to the trivia questions.  You will have a great time, while also learning some interesting new things!Flowerpot Fairy Wands, Thursday June 12th:  Come and make some of these wonderful little pieces of “garden jewelry” for your potted plants or your garden.  We will use wire, bamboo, and beads to create our project.  Make for yourself, or give as a gift. No Classes Wednesday June 18th or Thursday June 19th.  Have a Wonderful Week! Chalkboard Wheel of Fortune, Wed. June 25th:  This class will be a modification of the popular TV game show “Wheel of Fortune.”  Come and join me for this entertaining guessing contest; we always have loads of fun in this class!  Learning Through Documentaries, Thurs. June 26th:  This month’s documentary, put out by NATURE, is entitled “Hummingbirds of Hollywood.”  The description of this 1-hour program is as follows:  “Amid the glamour of Hollywood, a woman finds herself on a transformative journey as she nurtures wounded hummingbirds, unraveling a visually captivating tale of love, fragility, healing, and the delicate beauty in profound acts of kindness.”   The program will be followed by a period of interactive conversation.  Scrabble, Yahtzee, Mahjong, Wed. Come check out our new art program happening on the second Friday of the month, starting April 11th and running through June 13th. Each class will run from 10am-12pm at the Plainfield Senior Center! Carrie Ann Palazzo from the Art House of Norwich will be leading the class and providing materials for a different art project each month.
